Eighteen-year-old Katie Hill was born a boy called Luke and her boyfriend Arin Andrews, 16, was once a girl called Emerald. The sweethearts met through a support group for young transsexuals in their hometown in Oklahoma, USA. Arin, a former beauty pageant contestant, has hormone injections and is working out in the gym with his father Mitch to try to build a muscular body. Both teenagers shocked their families when they revealed their desire to live as the opposite sex, and Katie's father Randy, 56, a US marine, did not speak to her for three years because he was so upset. But now the young couple have the full support of their parents, who are coming to terms with their children's gender changes.

Billy Ray Harris, a panhandler in Missouri, grabbed the nation's attention earlier this month after he returned a diamond ring that was mistakenly dropped in his change cup, KCTV reported. The inspiring story quickly went viral and Sarah Darling, the grateful owner of the ring, set up a fundraiser for Harris with her husband to show her appreciation. They collected more than $86,000 since Feb. 14 as of press time and will be personally giving the funds to Harris. "I'm not sure of how you ended up in your situation, but after what I witnessed you do, I am most definitely sure that you are a honest man with a good heart," Volanda Shields, a donor who gave $1,000, wrote on Harris' GiveForward page. "Watching you on the news the other day brought tears to my eyes because I thought of what so many others would have done." Darling and her husband, Bill Krejci, remain in close contact with Harris and continue to share just how inspired they are by him and the way others have responded to the story. "Words cannot express how it feels to be a part of something like this," Krejci wrote on the GiveForward fundraising page. But Harris, who was raised by his reverend grandfather, told KCTV that the decision to return the ring was an obvious one, and that he doesn't actually think his actions warrant so much attention. The gifted toddler, who turns three in September, said his first words at ten months and could name all 2D and 3D shapes aged 18 months.

The stunt film is now a massive success on YouTube, with more than 5 million views over the past few days. The woman on the line is American slackliner Faith Dickey, the world record-holder in highlining, a young sport which is about walking on a line as high and far as possible. The stunt was set up to show the precise handling of the new Volvo FH, via which both trucks could maintain a steady gap throughout the stunt. It was filmed on an unopened highway in Croatia in cooperation with Hollywood stunt director Peter Pedrero (James Bond, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean).

4-year-old mayor is running Minnesota town Mayor Robert Tufts was selected mayor of Dorset, Minn. (population 22). Residents say he's a 'ball of fire.' This pint-sized politician may not speak softly but he sure does carry a big stick. Mayor Robert "Bobbie" Tufts is calling the shots in Dorset, Minn., a small community near Park Rapids. The four-year-old might not have the academic credentials for the job (he hasn't passed kindergarten). But residents say he's got the chops--and the mouth--to run the town. "He's amazing. He's just completely amazing," said Kathy Schmidt, whose family has lived in the area for four generations. "He's right in your face and well-spoken. You can't imagine what a ball of fire he is." The mayor can sing and dance with the best of them, WCCO reports. He guides his citizens safely across the street, big stick in hand. He's also an expert fisherman and knows how to dole out advice about the best bait to use. And he's not ashamed to talk about his love life. He says he has just one girlfriend for now--a girl named Sophia. It's unclear whether the town's first lady knows that she's captured the mayor's heart. Mayor Tufts was chosen at last year's "Taste of Dorset" festival. The small town selects its leader in a drawing during the popular event. Campaigns don't cost much in Dorset--just $1 will get your name in the hat. You don't even have to live there. At one point, a 5-year-old from Chicago was running the town. Dorset became a dot on the map nearly a century ago, sprouting up around a railroad that passed through the area. The community allegedly lost its town status years ago "when they took away the zip code," Schmidt says. Decisions about Dorset are made by the businesses that operate there--meaning the mayor doesn't have too many responsibilities. The town does have one claim to fame. Dorset calls itself the "Restaurant Capital of the World" because it has the most restaurants per capita. The town boasts a population of 22, though that number varies. "It depends on how many children the preacher has," Schmidt told the Daily News with a chuckle.

Superhuman person or alien saves a man on a motorbike from complete destruction by teleporting him a few meters away in less than a second, and then flees the scene as quickly as possible. A few observations from the footage: The truck driver swerves to his left at the last second slightly and leaves dark skid marks behind. The spot the motorbike man is teleported from, there is a dark round imprint left on the road and the same around the new position which both gradually fade away after a few seconds (while the skid marks remain). The truck driver can be observed looking at the dark ring closest to him in confusion, as it fades away (he looks right at this spot). Also, he doesn't know whether to go and apologise to the motorbike man because he isn't sure if it's who he thought he was about to run over, so he wanders around dazed (most likely questioning his own sanity). The superhuman person (teleporter/jumper) seems to have rather large hands which appear unusually bright white (unless wearing gloves) and is quick to put them in pockets while fleeing the scene. Why flee the scene so quickly? The superhuman could be afraid of being different / rejection from society and so does not want recognition for the heroic act. Or perhaps the hoody is hiding a distinct alien appearance. The motorbike man sits on the kerb totally bewildered (in shock) trying to figure out where he went and how he survived and ended up safely behind the truck with a random person in a hoody by his side. The superhuman person likely does not say a word to either of the men, and does not want to acknowledge the intervention at all. The mysterious hooded figure leaves the scene in a similar direction to whence it came when first bursting on to the scene, which is consistent.
